Naples Florida
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Naples, Florida area.

Naples is the furthest south and most natural of the larger cities along I-75 on Florida's west coast. North-south I-75 becomes east-west Alligator Alley at Naples, which puts the Atlantic coast metroplex of Miami/Fort Lauderdale within a 3-hour drive across the Everglades. As you approach this conveniently located southwest corner of civilized Florida from either direction, the sky seems to brighten and open up, the sand becomes pure white, the waterways are lined with pelicans perched on stumps or diving for fish, and the smell of the sea with the haunting cry of the gulls, typical of the Gulf side, is especially pronounced. The Gulf is calmer than the Atlantic, and the resorts here are built closer to the water, flanked by vaster stretches of uninhabited beach, than on the east coast. Golf, tennis and tours of the natural environment are popular activities, and the area shops cater to the many Europeans who have migrated here. However long your stay, you will be very relaxed when you leave, and will never forget the time you spent in Naples.
